Musnad Ahmad 1153:637

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Isma‘il ibn Abi Khalid, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, that ‘Aishah said: When she arrived at al-Haw’ab, she heard the barking of dogs. She said: "I do not think I am but returning, for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said to us: 'Which of you will the dogs of al-Haw’ab bark at?'" Al-Zubayr said to her: "You should return, perhaps Allah the Almighty will bring about reconciliation between the people through you."
