Musnad of the truthful one, Aisha bint al-Siddiq (RA)
مسند الصديقة عائشة بنت الصديق رضي الله عنها
Hadith 1153:681
'Affan narrated to us, he said: Bishr—meaning Ibn Mufaddal—narrated to us, he said: Salamah ibn 'Alqamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, he said: I was informed that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not pray in our *shi'ar*." Bishr said: "It is the garment that is worn beneath the outer garment (*dithar*)."
حدثنا عفان، قال: حدثنا بشر يعني ابن مفضل، قال: حدثنا سلمة بن علقمة، عن محمد بن سيرين، قال: نبئت أن عائشة، قالت: " كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يصلي في شعرنا "، قال بشر: " هو الثوب الذي يلبس تحت الدثار "
