Musnad Ahmad 1153:711

Abu Salamah al-Khuza'i narrated to us, he said: Malik informed us, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah, "That the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to recite the *Mu'awwidhat* (the verses of seeking refuge) over himself and blow." 'Aishah said: "So when he, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, became ill, I began to recite over him and wipe him with his own hand, hoping for the blessing of his hand."
