Musnad Ahmad 1153:719

Abu Sa’id narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from ‘Aishah, she said: A dabb (lizard) was brought to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he did not eat it, nor did he forbid it. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall we not feed it to the poor?" He said: "Do not feed them from what you do not eat."
