Abu Sa’id narrated to us, he said: Al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl al-Haddani narrated to us, he said: I heard Muhammad ibn Ziyad, he said: I heard ‘Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr saying: ‘A’ishah, the Mother of the Believers, narrated to me, she said: While the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was sleeping, he laughed in his sleep, then he woke up. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what did you laugh at?" He said: "Some people from my nation will head toward this House, seeking a man from Quraysh who has taken refuge in the Sanctuary. When they reach the desert (al-Bayda’), they will be swallowed up by the earth. Their sources (destinations) are various, and Allah will resurrect them according to their intentions." I said: "And how will Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, resurrect them according to their intentions while their sources are various?" He said: "The road gathered them; among them is the one who is insightful, the traveler, and the one who is coerced. They will perish in one destruction, and they will depart to various destinations."
