Hadith 1153:737

Mu'ammal narrated to us, he said: Hammad narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Suwayd narrated to us, from Abu Fakhitah, from 'Aishah, the like of it, and he added in it that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to Uthman: "Do you believe in what we believe in?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Then do as we do."

حدثنا مؤمل، قال: حدثنا حماد، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن سويد، عن أبي فاختة، عن عائشة بمثله، وزاد فيه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لعثمان: " أتؤمن بما نؤمن به؟ "، قال: نعم، يا رسول الله، قال: " فاصنع كما نصنع "
