Mu'awiyah narrated to us, he said: Za'idah narrated to us, he said: Mansur narrated to us, from Ibrahim, he said: I said to al-Aswad: "Did you ask the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, about what is disliked to be used for making nabidh (a fermented drink)?" He said: "Yes. I said to her: 'O Mother of the Believers, what is disliked to be used for making nabidh?'" She said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade the people of the house from the gourd (al-duba') and the pitch-coated vessel (al-muzaffat)."
