'Abd al-Samad ibn Hassan narrated to us, he said: 'Umarah informed us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said: While 'Aishah was in her house, she heard a sound in Medina, so she said: "What is this?" They said: "A caravan belonging to 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf that has arrived from Syria, carrying everything." He said: It was seven hundred camels. He said: The city shook from the sound. 'Aishah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: 'I have seen 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf entering Paradise crawling.'" This reached 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf, so he said: "If I am able, I will certainly enter it standing." So he gave it, with its saddles and its loads, in the way of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.
