Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr narrated to us, he said: Zuhayr ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn Amr ibn Hazm, from his father, from Aisha, who said: Some people from the Jews entered upon the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "As-samu alaykum" (Death be upon you). He said: "Wa alaykum" (And upon you). Aisha said: "Upon you be the curse of Allah and the curse of the cursers." They said: "Your father was not one who used foul language." When they left, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to her: "What compelled you to do what you did?" She said: "Did you not hear what they said?" He said: "Did you not see that I said: 'And upon you'? It will befall them what I say to them, and what they said to me will not befall me."
