'Affan narrated to us, he said: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, he said: Mansur ibn al-Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from al-Aswad, from 'Aishah, she said: We went out with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and we did not see anything except that it was the Hajj. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, arrived in Makkah, and he performed Tawaf and did not exit the state of Ihram, and he had the sacrificial animals (Hady) with him. Those of his wives and companions who were with him performed Tawaf, and those who did not have sacrificial animals with them exited the state of Ihram. She (Aishah) menstruated, so we completed the rites of our Hajj. When it was the night of al-Hasbah, the night of departure, she said: "O Messenger of Allah, will your companions return with Hajj and 'Umrah, while I return with Hajj?" He said: "Did you not perform Tawaf during the nights we arrived?" She said: I said: "No." He said: "Go with your brother to al-Tan'im, then enter into the state of Ihram for 'Umrah, then your appointment is at such and such a place." She said: Safiyyah menstruated, so he said: "May you be barren or shaven (an expression of frustration), you are detaining us! Did you not perform Tawaf around the House on the Day of Sacrifice?" She said: "Yes." He said: "There is no harm, so depart." She said: I met the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in the latter part of the night while he was ascending upon the people of Makkah, and I was descending upon them, or he was descending upon them and I was ascending upon them.
