'Affan narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Ziyad narrated to us, he said: Sadaqah ibn Sa'id al-Hanafi narrated to us, he said: Jami' ibn 'Umayr al-Taymi narrated to us, he said: I went with my paternal aunt and my maternal aunt to 'Aishah, and she asked her: "How would one of you do for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, when she menstruated?" She said: "When that happened to one of us, she would wrap herself in a wide lower garment, then she would embrace the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with her breasts and her upper chest."
