Hadith 1153:913

Quraysh ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Shabib ibn 'Abd al-Malik al-Taymi, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, from his paternal aunt 'Amrah, from 'Aishah, that she said: "We used to prepare *nabidh* (a drink made by soaking dates or raisins in water) for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in the morning in a waterskin, and we would not cover it, nor would we add any dregs (yeast/sediment) to it. When evening came, he would eat his dinner and drink [the *nabidh*] after his dinner. If anything remained, I would empty it or pour it out, then we would wash the waterskin. Then we would prepare *nabidh* in it in the evening. When morning came, he would eat his breakfast and drink [the *nabidh*] after his breakfast. If anything remained, I would pour it out or empty it, then the waterskin would be washed." It was said to him [the narrator]: "Is there a washing of the waterskin twice [in this process]?" He said: "Twice."
