Musnad Ahmad 1153:939

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Isma‘il, he said: I heard al-Sha‘bi narrating from Masruq, he said: I asked ‘Aishah about a man who sends his sacrificial animal (hady): Does he abstain from what the pilgrim in ihram abstains from? He said: Then I heard the sound of her hands from behind the curtain, then she said: "I used to braid the garlands for the sacrificial animals of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, then he would send them, and then nothing would be forbidden to him (that is forbidden to the pilgrim)."
