Sufyan narrated to us, from Sumayy, from Abu Bakr ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Aisha: "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would be overtaken by the morning while he was in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity), so he would perform ghusl (ritual bath) and fast."
