Musnad Ahmad 1153:955

Ahmad ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Aziz ibn Abi Hazim narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn al-Had, from Abu Bakr, from Amrah, from Aisha, that Umm Habibah bint Jahsh was married to Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, and she suffered from prolonged menstrual bleeding (istihada) and would not become pure. Her situation was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said: "It is not the menstruation, but rather it is a kick from the womb. So let her observe the duration of her period that she used to have for menstruation, and let her leave the prayer. Then, let her observe what is after that, and let her perform ghusl for every prayer, and let her pray."
