'Affan narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, he said: 'Ali bin Zayd narrated to us, from Abu 'Uthman an-Nahdi, from 'Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say: "O Allah, make me among those who, when they do good, rejoice, and when they do evil, seek forgiveness."
