Musnad Ahmad 1153:984

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, he said: Thabit narrated to us, from Shumaysah, from 'Aishah, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was on a journey of his, and a camel of Safiyyah became ill, and there was a surplus among the camels of Zaynab. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to her: "A camel of Safiyyah has become ill, so if you were to give her a camel from your camels." She said: "Shall I give to that Jewess?" He said: So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) left her for the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and Muharram—two months or three—not coming to her. She said: Until I despaired of him, and I moved my bed. She said: Then while I was one day at midday, suddenly I was with the shadow of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) approaching. 'Affan said: Hammad narrated it to me from Shumaysah, from the Prophet (ﷺ), then I heard him after that narrating it from Shumaysah, from 'Aishah, from the Prophet (ﷺ). And he said further: "In a Hajj or an 'Umrah." He said: "And I do not think it was anything but that he said: In the Farewell Pilgrimage."
