Abu Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Hakim ibn Sharik al-Hudhali, from Yahya ibn Maymun al-Hadrami, from Rabi'ah al-Jurashi, from Abu Hurayrah, from Umar ibn al-Khattab, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Do not sit with the people of Qadar (those who deny divine decree), and do not initiate speech with them." And Abu Abd al-Rahman said once: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
