Musnad Ahmad 2:153

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from al-A'mash, from Shaqiq ibn Salamah, from Salman ibn Rabi'ah, from 'Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) distributed a distribution. I said: "O Messenger of Allah, others are more deserving of this than these." The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "They gave me the choice between asking me with obscenity or considering me stingy, and I am not stingy."
