Musnad Ahmad 2:161

Khalf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, Khalid narrated to us, from Khalid, from Abu Uthman, from Umar: That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted a concession regarding silk [to the extent of] two fingers.
