Hadith 2:173
Yahya narrated to us, from al-A’mash, who said: Shaqiq narrated to us. Al-Sabi ibn Ma’bad narrated to me—and he was a man from the tribe of Taghlib—he said: I was a Christian, then I accepted Islam, and I strove hard and did not fall short. So I entered into the state of Ihram for both Hajj and ‘Umrah. I passed by al-‘Udhayb, where Salman ibn Rabi’ah and Zayd ibn Suhan were. One of them said to the other: "Is he doing both together?" His companion said to him: "Leave him, for he is more astray than his camel." He said: It was as if my camel was upon my neck [i.e., I felt a heavy burden of shame]. So I came to ‘Umar and mentioned that to him. ‘Umar said to me: "They did not say anything; you have been guided to the Sunnah of your Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
