'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan. And 'Abd al-Razzaq, Sufyan informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Amr ibn Maymun, who said: 'Umar said—'Abd al-Razzaq said: I heard 'Umar—: "The polytheists would not depart from Jam' (Muzdalifah) until the sun shone upon Thabir." 'Abd al-Razzaq said: "And they used to say: 'Shine, O Thabir, so that we may depart (for Mina).'" Meaning: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, opposed them, so he departed before the sun rose.
