Musnad Ahmad 2:209

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Mulaykah informed me, he said: A daughter of 'Uthman ibn 'Affan passed away in Makkah. Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas were present for her, and I was sitting between them. Ibn 'Umar said to 'Amr ibn 'Uthman, who was facing him: "Will you not forbid the weeping? For the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Indeed, the deceased is punished by the weeping of his family over him.'" He then mentioned the like of the hadith of Isma'il from Ayyub from Ibn Abi Mulaykah.
