Musnad Ahmad 2:265

Hashim and Yazid narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, who said: 'Umar said: "Were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'The killer has no share [of inheritance],' I would have made you an heir." He said: And he called the brother of the slain man and gave him the camels.
