Musnad Ahmad 2:276

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us. And Abu Dawud narrated from Shu‘bah, from Abu Ishaq, from ‘Amr ibn Maymun, who said: ‘Umar prayed the morning prayer while at Jam‘ — Abu Dawud said: We were with ‘Umar at Jam‘ — and he said: "The polytheists would not depart until the sun had risen, and they would say: 'Let Thabir shine.' But the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, opposed them, and he departed before the sun had risen."
