Musnad Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA)
مسند عمر بن الخطاب (1) رضي الله عنه
Hadith 2:3
'Affan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard 'Amr ibn Maymun say: 'Umar led us in the morning prayer at Jam' (Muzdalifah), then he stood and said: "The polytheists used to not depart until the sun had risen, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) differed from them." Then he departed before the sun had risen.
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا شعبة، عن أبي إسحاق، قال: سمعت عمرو بن ميمون، قال: صلى بنا عمر بجمع الصبح، ثم وقف وقال: إن المشركين كانوا لا يفيضون حتى تطلع الشمس، وإن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خالفهم، ثم أفاض قبل أن تطلع الشمس .
