Musnad Ahmad 2:303

Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from ‘Amr ibn Maymun, from ‘Umar, who said: The people of the Jahiliyyah would not depart from Jam’ (Muzdalifah) until they said: "Shine, Thabir, so that we may depart." When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came, he opposed them. He would depart from Jam’ at the time of the prayer of those who pray at dawn, before the rising of the sun.
