Musnad Ahmad 2:311

Ishaq ibn Isa narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The two parties to a sale have the option [to rescind or confirm] as long as they have not separated, unless the sale is a sale of option."
