Musnad Ahmad 2:32

Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abdullah narrated to us, from Rashid ibn Sa'd, from Umar ibn al-Khattab and Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not take Zakat (charity) from horses or slaves.
