Hadith 2:55

Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Shu'ayb informed us, from al-Zuhri, Salim ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, that 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar said: I heard 'Umar saying: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to give me a gift, and I would say: "Give it to someone who is poorer than me." Until one time he gave me wealth, and I said: "Give it to someone who is poorer than me." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Take it, possess it, and give charity from it. Whatever comes to you of this wealth, while you are neither coveting it nor asking for it, then take it. And whatever is not like that, do not let your soul pursue it."
