Musnad Ahmad 2:9

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from Ibn Ishaq, who said: Nafi', the freed slave of Abdullah ibn Umar, narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: I went out, along with al-Zubayr and al-Miqdad ibn al-Aswad, to our properties in Khaybar to tend to them. When we arrived there, we separated among our properties. He said: Then they attacked me in the night while I was sleeping on my bed, and my arms were dislocated from my elbows. When morning came, my two companions cried out for help regarding me, and they came to me and asked me, "Who did this to you?" I said, "I do not know." He said: So they set my arms, then they brought me to Umar, who said, "This is the work of the Jews." Then he stood among the people as a preacher and said: "O people, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had made a contract with the Jews of Khaybar that we would expel them if we wished. They have attacked Abdullah ibn Umar and dislocated his arms, as has reached you, along with their attack on the Ansari before him. We do not doubt that they are the ones responsible; we have no enemy there other than them. So whoever has property in Khaybar, let him go to it, for I am expelling the Jews." And he expelled them.
