Musnad Ahmad 2:91

Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from al-Zuhri, from Malik ibn Aws, who said: I heard ‘Umar saying to ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn ‘Awf, Talhah, al-Zubayr, and Sa‘d: "I adjure you by Allah, by whom the heavens and the earth stand, do you know that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: 'We are not inherited from; whatever we leave is charity'?" They said: "By Allah, yes."
