### Musnad of ‘Umarah ibn Hazm al-Ansari It was narrated from ‘Umarah ibn Hazm that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest, his reward is a day and a night, and his hospitality is three days; whatever is beyond that is charity. It is not permissible for a guest to stay with his host until he causes him to sin." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, how would he cause him to sin?" He said: "He stays with him when he has nothing to offer him."
