Musnad Ahmad 4:1

Abdullah narrated to us, Ziyad ibn Ayyub narrated to me, Hushaym narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Miqdam claimed from al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Hasan, he said: I entered the mosque, and there I was with Uthman ibn Affan, leaning upon his garment. Two water-carriers came to him, disputing before him, so he judged between them. Then I came to him and looked at him, and he was a man of handsome face, with smallpox marks on his cheek, and his hair covered his forearms.
