Musnad Ahmad 4:17

'Abdullah narrated to us, Al-'Abbas ibn al-Walid al-Narsi narrated to me, Yazid ibn Zuray' narrated to us, Sa'id narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Muslim ibn Yasar, from Humran ibn Aban: That he witnessed 'Uthman perform ablution one day, so he rinsed his mouth and snuffed water into his nose, and washed his face three times. And he narrated from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, similar to the hadith of Ibn Ja'far from Sa'id.
