And the Narrations of Uthman ibn Affan (RA)

Hadith 4:18

Abdullah narrated to us, Wahb ibn Baqiyyah al-Wasiti narrated to me, Khalid—meaning ibn Abdullah—informed us, from al-Jurayri, from Urwah ibn Qabisah, from a man from the Ansar, from his father, who said: I was standing by Uthman ibn Affan, and he said: "Shall I not inform you how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform wudu?" We said: "Yes." He called for water, and he washed his face three times, and he rinsed his mouth and sniffed water into his nose three times, then he washed his hands up to his elbows three times, then he wiped his head and his ears, and he washed his feet three times. Then he said: "This is how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform wudu."
