Hashim ibn Bashir dictated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Qays al-Asadi informed us, from Musa ibn Talhah, who said: I heard Uthman ibn Affan while he was on the pulpit, and the caller (mu'adhdhin) was performing the iqamah for prayer, and he was inquiring of the people, asking them about their news and their prices.
