Hadith 3:12
Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Yunus—meaning Ibn 'Ubayd—narrated to us, 'Ata' ibn Farrukh, the freed slave of the Quraysh, narrated to me: That 'Uthman bought a piece of land from a man, and he (the man) was slow in coming to him. So he met him and said to him: "What prevented you from taking your money?" He said: "You cheated me, and I do not meet anyone among the people but that he blames me." He said: "Is that what prevents you?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then choose between your land and your money." Then he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, admitted into Paradise a man who was easy-going when buying, when selling, when judging, and when seeking repayment."
