Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I found in my father’s book: Muhammad ibn Bishr narrated to us, Abdullah ibn Abdullah ibn al-Aswad narrated to me, from Husayn ibn Umar, from Makhariq ibn Abdullah ibn Jabir al-Ahmasi, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Uthman ibn Affan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever deceives the Arabs shall not enter into my intercession, and my affection shall not reach him."
