Musnad Ahmad 3:41

'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, al-Qasim—meaning Ibn al-Fadl—narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Murrah narrated to us, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, who said: 'Uthman invited a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, among them 'Ammar ibn Yasir. He said: "I am asking you, and I would like for you to be truthful with me: I adjure you by Allah, do you know that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to prefer Quraysh over the rest of the people, and prefer Banu Hashim over the rest of Quraysh?" The people remained silent. 'Uthman said: "If the keys to Paradise were in my hand, I would give them to Banu Umayyah until they all entered, to the last of them." Then he sent for Talhah and al-Zubayr, and 'Uthman said: "Shall I not tell you about him—meaning 'Ammar? I was walking with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, holding my hand, walking in the valley, until he came upon his father and his mother and him, while they were being tortured. 'Ammar's father said: 'O Messenger of Allah, is it always like this?' The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said to him: 'Be patient.' Then he said: 'O Allah, forgive the family of Yasir, and You have done so.'"
