Musnad Ahmad 3:62

Ubayd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn Hafs ibn Umar al-Taymi narrated to us, saying: I heard my father say: I heard my uncle, Ubayd Allah ibn Umar ibn Musa, say: I was with Sulayman ibn Ali, and an old man from Quraysh entered. Sulayman said: "Look at the old man," and he seated him in a good seat, "for Quraysh has a right." I said: "O Prince, shall I not tell you a hadith that reached me from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?" He said: "Yes." I said to him: It reached me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever insults Quraysh, Allah will insult him." He said: "Subhan Allah, how excellent is this! Who told you this?" I said: "Rabiah ibn Abi Abd al-Rahman told it to me, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Amr ibn Uthman ibn Affan, who said: My father said to me: 'O my son, if you are put in charge of any of the people's affairs, then honor Quraysh, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "Whoever insults Quraysh, Allah will insult him."'"
