Hadith 43:2
Hashim narrated to us, Khalid informed us, from al-Qasim ibn Rabi'ah ibn Jawshan, from 'Uqbah ibn Aws, from a man among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): That the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon on the day of the conquest of Makkah and said: "There is no god but Allah alone; He aided His servant and defeated the confederates alone." Hashim said another time: "Praise be to Allah who fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone. Beware, every claim of nobility or blood that was in the Jahiliyyah is counted and claimed, and every blood or claim is placed beneath these two feet of mine, except for the guardianship of the House (the Ka'bah) and the providing of water to the pilgrims. Beware, and the one killed by quasi-intentional error..." Hashim said one time: "...by a whip, a stick, or a stone, has a heavy blood money: one hundred camels, forty of which are pregnant with their offspring in their bellies." And he said another time: "Forty of them are between the age of *thaniyyah* (five years old) and *bazil* (six years old), all of them being pregnant."
حدثنا هشيم، أخبرنا خالد، عن القاسم بن ربيعة بن جوشن، عن عقبة بن أوس، عن رجل، من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خطب يوم فتح مكة، فقال: " لا إله إلا الله وحده، نصر عبده، وهزم الأحزاب وحده " قال هشيم مرة أخرى: " الحمد لله الذي صدق وعده، ونصر عبده، ألا إن كل مأثرة كانت في الجاهلية تعد، وتدعى، وكل دم أو دعوى موضوعة تحت قدمي هاتين، إلا سدانة البيت، وسقاية الحاج، ألا وإن قتيل خطأ العمد " قال هشيم مرة " بالسوط، والعصا، والحجر دية مغلظة: مائة من الإبل منها أربعون في بطونها أولادها " وقال مرة: " أربعون من ثنية إلى بازل عامها كلهن خلفة "
