Hadith 43:3
Hashim narrated to us, Humaid informed us, from al-Qasim ibn Rabi'ah, that he said regarding this hadith: "And the victim of quasi-intentional killing by a whip, a stick, or a stone is [compensated by] one hundred camels, forty of which are pregnant with their offspring in their bellies. Whoever demands more than that is of the people of the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance)."
حدثنا هشيم، أخبرنا حميد، عن القاسم بن ربيعة أنه قال في هذا الحديث: " وإن قتيل خطأ العمد بالسوط، والعصا والحجر مائة من الإبل، منها أربعون في بطونها أولادها، فمن ازداد بعيرا فهو من أهل الجاهلية "
