Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 5:225
Sahih Hadeeth, its isnad is da'eef because of the weakness of Hudaij] (Darussalam)
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: `I went out when the moon rose as if it was half of a dish.” Then he said: Tonight is Lailatul-Qadr.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، لُوَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا حُدَيْجٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حُذَيْفَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجْتُ حِينَ بَزَغَ الْقَمَرُ كَأَنَّهُ فِلْقُ جَفْنَةٍ فَقَالَ اللَّيْلَةَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
