Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 5:310
Hasan because of corroborating evidence; this is a Da'if isnad because Abu Muhammad Al-Hudhali is unknown] (Darussalam)
It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said that The Prophet (ﷺ) sent him to Madinah and told him to level the graves.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ الْحَكَمُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَبِي مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ بَعَثَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُسَوِّيَ الْقُبُورَ
