وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 5:433

It was narrated that ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would relieve himself, then eat meat with us and recite Qur`an, and nothing stopped him or prevented him (from reciting Qur`an) except janabah.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلِمَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْضِي الْحَاجَةَ فَيَأْكُلُ مَعَنَا اللَّحْمَ وَيَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَحْجِزُهُ أَوْ يَحْجُبُهُ إِلَّا الْجَنَابَةُ
