Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 5:461
Da'if (Darussalam), and there is something odd in its text] (Darussalam)
It was narrated from ‘Ali concerning the verse “You are only a warner, and to every people there is a guide` [Ar-Ra`d 13.7]:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The warner and the guide is a man from Banu Hashim.`
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ خَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، فِي قَوْلِهِ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُنْذِرُ وَالْهَادِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ.
