Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 5:578
It was narrated from a man among the Ansar, from `Ali (رضي الله عنه), that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever visits a sick person is walking amongst the fruits of Paradise. When he sits with him he is covered with mercy, and when he leaves him, seventy thousand angels are appointed to pray for forgiveness for him that day.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي الْحُسَامِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا مَشَى فِي خِرَافِ الْجَنَّةِ فَإِذَا جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ اسْتَنْقَعَ فِي الرَّحْمَةِ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ وُكِّلَ بِهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ
