Musnad `Umar b. al-Khattab (ra)
مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 2:182
It was narrated from Umm ‘Amr the daughter of `Abdullah that she heard `Abdullah bin azZubair narrate that:
He heard `Umar bin al-Khattab delivering a khutbah, He [ʼUmar] said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter.”
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَخْطُبُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَا يُكْسَاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ
