مُسْنَدِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Hadith 2:242
Sahih (Darussalam) [ al-Bukhari (2904) and Muslim (1757) (Darussalam)
It was narrated that ‘Umar said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `We are not to be inherited from; what we leave behind is charity.`
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّا لَا نُورَثُ مَا تَرَكْنَا صَدَقَةٌ
